TL;DR Summary of the AI Litepaper
The AI Litepaper explores the potential to deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) on POKT Network
Over the last week (11/04 to 11/10), the Pocket Network protocol successfully relayed over 1.22B application requests and settled at 10,255 nodes.
This week ended with a little blow-off after seeing continued increases day after day throughout the last couple of weeks. This brings the avg. number of daily relays to ~175M/day for the past week, meaning it’s the second week in a row in which we saw >1B total relays successfully processed by the Pocket Network nodes. The network also now has over 10,000 nodes - a major milestone!
Close to 3B relays were processed in total throughout the last four weeks. The exact numbers are displayed in the table below.
The pie chart below shows the distribution of all POKT (rewards) minted this past week.
POKTscan shows Harmony blockchain continues to dominate the number of relays driven to the Pocket Network. A close second is the Ethereum Network, followed by Fuse and Polygon.
* Purple: Harmony, Red: Ethereum Network, Dark yellow: FUSE, Light yellow: Polygon.UpdatesThe Pocket OffsiteThe Pocket Network team came together in Mexico to celebrate the achievements of this past year. This week included tons of brainstorm sessions, amazing team activities and planning of our next big steps. Ferrum will also be aiming to utilize Pocket's highly touted RPC infrastructure beginning in Q1!The fund covers the development costs for this bridge, and we’re excited to see what they deliver! For more information about the bridge, see the below Twitter thread, or announcement linked to in their tweet: https://twitter.com/FerrumNetwork/status/1458406016131944449?s=20The Block dives into the Pocket NetworkChances are, you may have heard of The Block before. We’re extremely excited they’ve taken their team to do research to Pocket Network and share their findings.Check out their full report at: https://www.theblockresearch.com/a-data-dive-into-pocket-network-123733Or, check out this great Twitter thread by Hiroki:https://twitter.com/blockhiro/status/1459035651861479426?s=20Support IoTeX infrastructure and add a Pocket Endpoint!Have you added the Pocket Endpoint for IoTeX in your Metamask yet? Check out the Node Runner docs above to learn how.Try out Node Pilot, it’s the most user-friendly option to spin up both base layer blockchain nodes and Pocket nodes. If you run into any issues, a community of node runners (and our support team) would be happy to help. If you’d prefer to not run a node yourself, check out the forum for a list of node providers offering their services to people interested in participating in the ecosystem. How to purchase POKT to stake? When you are ready to take the step forward in supporting decentralized node infrastructure and earning Pocket’s native cryptocurrency for serving apps then visit any of these community-established OTCs:https://forum.pokt.network/t/secondary-markets-for-pokt/629They are the best way to buy or sell POKT; and it helps nodes cover the cost of their infrastructure. Join either private telegram channels (requires telegram) and message the admin to get started. Note that there are fees associated with the OTCs to help cover their costs and that neither Pocket Network, Inc., the Pocket DAO, nor the Pocket Foundation receives any of these fees nor any proceeds from the sale of POKT through the OTCs.
