We’re proud to announce that Pocket Network will be teaming up with Klaytn as a Community Partner for their upcoming virtual hackathon!KlayMakers22 will be an engaging event where Web3 developers can build in the Klaytn ecosystem, and Web2 developers can dip their toes into the blockchain world. The hackathon has a specific focus on building enhancement features to the core protocol, DApps and use cases for the ecosystem, and important research to drive Klaytn forward.As a Community Partner, Pocket will be engaging with and helping to educate the developer community during the event.The registration period will run from today through the next 2 weeks, with the hackathon itself scheduled for August 29th through September 30th.Note: Pocket Network recently launched Klaytn as a supported chain - if you're a developer looking to build on Klaytn, make sure to get set up with one of our Klaytn endpoints via the Pocket Portal!

5 Tracks Depending on Your Interests

KlayMakers22 has 5 distinct tracks for all different kinds of developers.

• The Klaytn Core+ track. For developers who are interested in driving improvement and building tooling on the Klaytn core protocol.
• The Metaverse & NFTs track. For developers who are interested in building use cases and tooling in Metaverse & NFTs.
• The DAO track. For developers who are interested in DAO use cases or its supporting tooling.
• The Fi+ track. For developers who are interested in building use cases for any Fi+ fields (e.g. DeFi, GameFi, MetaFi, SocialFi, etc.).
• The Public Goods track. For developers to build use cases that could make a difference in areas like climate change, pollution, war, oppression, economic inequality, fake news, or any other social impact field.

Over $1 Million On the Line

All-in-all, KlayMakers22 will be dishing out over $1 million for participants (in the form of prizes, grants, and accelerator programs that will be up for grabs). Each of the above tracks will feature 3 prizes:

• $30,000 to the winners
• $20,000 to runner-ups
• $10,000 to third place
