TL;DR Summary of the AI Litepaper
The AI Litepaper explores the potential to deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) on POKT Network
We are pleased to announce the release of our latest protocol update Pocket Core RC-0.4.1 on 06/30/2020! Pocket Core RC-0.4.1 will be tying up loose ends and improve the Quality of Life(QOL) for our node operators. Some of those improvements are:
This release mirrors the way the protocol will be for mainnet, representing a new standard for blockchain infrastructure and beyond. Our Javascript / TypeScript libraries for Pocket-JS and Web3-provider has been updated to RC-0.5.7, to fit the latest protocol release as well as updates and fixes for the PocketRpcProvider. The fixes and enhancements include:
In addition to the protocol and Pocket-JS library, we will be rolling out an armada of products throughout July to make interacting with the Pocket Network, come mainnet, much easier:
We understand that some people using the protocol aren’t technical and don’t want to go through the trouble of configuring the Pocket Core CLI on their computer. Which is why we built a native Pocket Wallet. The Pocket Wallet is a GUI that provides the means for anyone to transfer POKT between accounts.
The Pocket Block Explorer is a native block explorer built for Pocket, while also running on the Pocket Network, and IPFS soon. You will be able to query your node, view transactions that are being propagated on the network, and more!

The dashboard will give application developers and node operators the ability to view and manage their infrastructure by bringing the entire protocol to life in an easy to navigate GUI. Users of the Pocket Network will also be able to purchase and stake POKT within this dashboard!
We created the Pocket Gateway with the developers in mind by providing a seamless experience that allows them to connect their application to our API by changing the URL endpoint to Pocket. This gives developers access to the underlying decentralized network of node operators running full-nodes.
We are pleased to announce once more that the Pocket Mainnet will be launched on July 28th, 2020 🥳
Node operators will be able to start earning POKT on mainnet by simultaneously running nodes for base blockchains and an instance of Pocket Core alongside their setups.Application developers will be able to not only save money and time by including Pocket into their development stack, but also leverage our decentralized API protocol to ensure constant up-time and censorship resistance for their applications.
Before we answer this question, we would like to say thank you for participating in our incentivized testnet. Without you, we would not have been able to get the protocol to where it is today. If you participated in the incentivized testnet, we will be releasing your earned POKT rewards upon the launch of the mainnet protocol. Once we are done pulling in all of the network data and seeing which nodes were servicing relays, then we’ll release your token rewards and you’ll see your POKT tokens in your Pocket Wallet.
In case you missed the announcement, all node operators will need to create an account (three maximum) using the Pocket Wallet before July 8th, 2020 to receive tokens from participating in incentivized testnet. There is a minimum 105-day lock-up period that will not allow you to transfer or sell POKT tokens but can be used to stake immediately for either nodes or apps.Node operators should prepare their node operations for mainnet. Yes! We encourage everyone to make sure their nodes are properly connected and configured using the test network before servicing real data on the main network.
