The highest number of daily relays was on August 4th, with over 9.6M relays.

Pocket Network Stats 07/29 to 08/04

This past week, 61.9M successful relays were processed. Nodes minted ~619K POKT during this timeframe, with ~551.11k POKT going to the service nodes, ~61.9k POKT going to the Pocket DAO, and ~6.19k POKT going to block producers.Total Successful Relays from 07/08 to 08/04:   223,455,896AVG Successful Relays Per Day  07/08 to 08/04:  7,980,567AVG Successful Relays Per Week 07/08 to 08/04: 55,863,974Over the last four weeks, applications using the Pocket Gateway drove a total of 223.45M successful requests 📡In this timeframe, nodes have minted a bit over ~2.23M POKT, with 89% going to the service nodes (~1.98M POKT), 10% going to the Pocket DAO ( ~223.4K POKT), and 1% going to the block producers (~2.23K POKT).Total Staked Nodes4,417 (+43)

Analysis by Marco 👋 | @TMod_Marco

The number of relays this week is down slightly compared to last week. However, I’m not a single bit less excited, as this number is still up significantly compared to two weeks ago. The number of relays somewhat ranging sideways throughout this past week is very positive, after a significant increase. It shows the applications are here to continue using Pocket Network for their relays, with hopefully more developers coming on board in the near future. As the number of total active validator nodes decreased slightly, the avg. rewards per node per day remain on the higher end as well compared to a couple of weeks ago. Currently, active validator nodes earn 33 POKT/avg. per day across the past 30 days.

Looking at the relays per chain, Fuse remains the clear ‘winner’, with the Ethereum Network seeing decent growth as well. I’m curious to see what this will look like in a couple of months. At the time of writing, Pocket Network also broke a new all-time high for the total relays processed on a single day and network fees. Over ~21M relays were processed over the past 24 hours, generating over ~186.9k POKT revenue for node runners!

Pocket Networks’ Mainnet Anniversary! It's been a little over a year since Pocket Network’s mainnet launched. We’re looking back at a wonderful year full of amazing developments, progress and collaborations. Some quick stats:

  • There’s currently over 4,300 active validator nodes on the network (over 5k including jailed validator nodes). Ran from over 16 different countries.
  • Over ~1.5B+ total relays have been processed by these active validator nodes.
  • 12 Blockchains are supported, with (many) more blockchains to follow.

Thank you so much for sharing this on Twitter Enrique:

So proud of @POKTnetwork’s mainnet anniversary today. I remember texting everyone at the team at that time if the block had gone through!

A year later, and we’ve got 10+ blockchains, 5k+ validators, and a healthy node runner community.— Enrique Ortiz 🌲 (@cryptoyizus) July 29, 2021

How to purchase POKT to stake?

When you are ready to take the step forward in supporting decentralized node infrastructure and earning Pocket’s native cryptocurrency for serving apps then visit any of these community-established OTCs:SubZero OTCThunderhead OTCThey are the best way to buy or sell POKT; and it helps nodes cover the cost of their infrastructure. Join either private telegram channels (requires telegram) and message the admin to get started. Note that there are fees associated with the OTCs to help cover their costs and that neither Pocket Network, Inc., the Pocket DAO, nor the Pocket Foundation receives any of these fees nor any proceeds from the sale of POKT through the OTCs.
